In May 2002, a few like minded individuals, came together with a common goal, namely to endeavor for the betterment of the lives of the lesser privileged members of the society. This was the genesis of the Rotary Club of Bombay Bayview. The club was chartered on 1st May 2002 under the Worldwide Rotary International District 3140. These like-minded Rotarians presented a blend of the youth and dynamic professionals from diverse walks of life like Industrialists, Doctors, Lawers, Businessmen, Fashion Designers, Community Workers etc.
The Group, averaging an age of 44, with most members residing in South Mumbai , is young in spirit, enthusiastic, and committed. They are firm believers in the maxim that “A Rotarian's life is one of commitments made and commitments kept”, the members' prime commitment is to serve the humanity.
