- List all Projects undertaken in the year: Two main ongoing projects which our club had been nurturing since its inception. One at Gitanagar Slums and the other one at Umerkhadi, where we run evening tuition classes for the under-privileged children.
- In the month of July 2007, Bayview team jointly participated in the blood donation camp where we attended seminar on the different aspects and need for blood donation at the Matunga Gymkhana.
- In July 2007 we also donated raincoats and gumboots to the children at the orphanage constructed by our Bayview club at Malvani, Malad.
- For the first time in the history of Rotary, as far as I am aware of, 14 South Mumbai Clubs got together and had a joint mega meeting at K.C. College Auditorium and the Speaker was Spiritual Guru Pujyashri Bhupendrabhai Pandya and he had addressed the august gathering on peace of mind at Gita.calm, where our club had also participated and I had the privilege to be the master of ceremony.
- Bayview had the proud privilege of being a part at co-organising the International Ryla, which was held at Silvassa.
- We also participated in the Rotary Service Challenge Week in the month of December 2007 by holding a blood donation camp at Dadar station jointly with Rotary Club of Bombay Sea Face and a few other South Mumbai clubs.
- Bayview had also joined Rotary Club of Mumbai Hanging Garden in donating Jaipur foot at KEM Hospital.
- Our club has actively participated in various district events by also co-hosting A to Z of rotary and the TRF Seminar.
- In our regular weekly meeting we had a speaker from ISKON Food Relief Foundation and the members present were motivated by the speaker and promptly donated Rs.40,000/- for the Midday Meal project run by them.
- In January 2008, because of the efforts of our Charter President Rtn. Jayesh Vidhani, Bayview was found capable enough to hold the torch of Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon by being the lead club with placards specially designed and made by our ever helpful R/Anns.
- It was an experience co-ordinating with so many Rotary Clubs and the District. It was really an overwhelming achievement to run with IPDG Dr. Ulhas Kolhatkar and our very own fitness conscious members.
